Harvest hello

This is the card I decided to use as my fall card. I don't know why I insist on aging cards that I need to make in bulk, but I do. When I was done making 25 of these I had ranger ink all over my fingers, but it's SO worth it. The cardstock is all Bazill, the patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. The harvest hello is from Stampin' up, the pumpkin stamp is from Inkadinkado, as well as the swirl on the top left. I colored the pumpkins with watercolor pencils and a blender pen. Thanks for looking. Happy Fall!

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #36

For this cupcake challenge I used Stampin' up cardstock in so saffron, pink pirouette and whisper white. The patterned paper is Stampin' up parisian summer. I used the oval punch and the curly label punch. The stamps are from Hero Arts. I also used some crystal stickles on the hearts. I remembered to bring my camera to work, but forgot the cord so I couldn't upload it yesterday, so I'll have two posts today. Thanks for looking

A Muse 2008 - 2009 Calendar

I don't have a card to post today, but I wanted to share something with all of you. If you visit the A Muse website , you can purchase a downloadable 16 month calendar. These are great for a desktop to remind you of all those important dates. You can really do some fun stuff with these calendars. Here's the best part: 100% of all the proceeds will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Isn't that wonderful. This really means a lot to me personally because I lost a dear friend to Leukemia 2 years ago. Lisa was the most talented card maker/scrapbooker I've ever met, not to mention a wonderful friend and I was honored to know her. She fought a hard battle with Leukemia and we lost her too soon. She would have been 37 this year. So as soon as I heard about the calendars that you can purchase with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, I got online and made my donation and got the downloadable calendar, and I urge all of you to do the same. There are three levels of donations you can make. The first level is $4, and you can receive this great calendar to decorate, and help a wonderful cause. Thanks for reading.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #32

Don't you just love the look on the faces of these reindeer? Friday night my friend Renee and her neice Taylor came over and I was trying to come up with my idea for the cupcake challenge this week. Taylor immediately thought of these reindeer. She also thought it would be cute if they were wearing matching sweaters, so I got out my water pen and reinkers and she went to town. I think she did a fabulous job. Taylor is 12 and so talented. She basically came up with this whole card and I pretty much just sat there and put it together. We used old olive, ruby red, baja breeze and the new dsp from Stampin' up. I used my spellbinder dies to make the circles and the stamp set is Holiday Lineup from Stampin' Up. Thanks for looking, and thanks to Taylor for helping me with the challenge.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge #31

Well, I missed it again. I worked on my card this weekend for the Taylored Expressions cupcake challenge and left my camera at work, and since yesterday was a holiday, I didn't get to post my card. Better late than never I suppose. I used Stampin' Up basic black, whisper white, baja breeze and pink pirouette. The patterned paper is from Miss Elizabeths which I picked up at the dollar store - SWEET! The stamp set is from Hero Arts . The "frosting" is made from felt flowers from Stampin' Up with black brads. I also used my divine swirls embossing folder cuttlebug . I love that machine! Thanks for looking!
